MISSING: LASHAYA STINE

TRUE CRIME CANDLE TIME

For our first case efforts, we are bringing awareness to the disappearance of Lashaya Stine.

Lashaya Stine disappeared in the summer of 2016 from Aurora, Colorado. Lashaya, a black female, was age 16, had long black hair, brown eyes, stood at 5’6” and weighed 150 pounds when she went missing. She has a quarter sized scar on her chest and often wore her hair in a bun style. Her mother confirms she snuck out of her bedroom window in July and believes she intended to return. This is further evidenced by her leaving without her wallet, phone charger, or clothes at ~2 AM.

Lashaya was scheduled for a job interview at Firehouse Subs the following day and did not show. She was an honor student and had an upcoming nursing internship that she was delighted about at a local prestigious university. She is last seen briefly on surveillance wearing a white shirt and long shorts, before crossing the street and walking out of frame.

Lashaya has not contacted her family and that is out of character for her. There have been many leads with sightings of Lashaya in neighboring states. There is considerable evidence pointing towards the possibility that she was sex trafficked, and credible witnesses have come forward with personal information.

Lashaya should have celebrated her 22nd birthday with her family this week, but instead she has been missing for 5.5 years.

Light your candle and spark a conversation with someone about Lashaya. We hope that it reignites the conversation about Lashaya’s story and reaches somebody that knows more.
